Kind of Blue (1959) is widely hailed as one of the greatest  jazz albums.  This is how Miles' group changed into the band that recorded it from the First Great Quintet with John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones....




1.   Add Cannonball Adderly on alto saxophone to the quintet.

2.  Replace Red Garland with Bill Evans at the piano and replace Philly Joe Jones with Jimmy Cobb on drums....
